As part of the North Harris County Regional Water Authority’s Project 28 G, Stiver Engineering worked with the client to prepare trench safety plans for the installation of the proposed 3800 ft long 84” WL.
Apart from the trench safety plans, Stiver Engineering designed the bore pits and access shafts for the two tunnel crossings.
Additionally, Stiver Engineering developed an efficient tunnel grouting and blocking plan for successful filling of the tunnel annulus. As part of the grouting plan, Stiver Engineering performed analysis on the 84” WL to confirm its conformity against the buoyant forces.
