Description: The work involved is in one (1) contract and consists of the following generally described work: CONTRACT 23-01 – WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS – • Site Excavation and Piping • New Headworks with fine screening and grit removal • Two (2) New Sequencing Batch Reactor Basins • New Chlorine Contact / Effluent Flow Equalization Basin • New Electrical / Chemical Building with standby power • New Sludge Dewatering Canopy and roll-off dewatering units • New on-site local pumping station • Modifications to existing Operations Building • Approximately 3,528 L.F. of new 6-inch and 8-inch water line • Approximately 1,530 L.F. of new 6-inch raw wastewater force main • Approximately 4,717 L.F. of 12-inch effluent force main. The allotted time for construction of Contract 23-01 is 450 calendar days; liquidated damages for non-completion are $1,000 per calendar day.
