Description: The general nature of the public improvement to the existing wastewater treatment facility includes, but is not limited to, construction of a new influent sanitary sewer, influent flume structure, headworks building with screening room, office/laboratory, controls room, and blower room; a new mechanical bar screen with accessories, headworks wet wells with submersible pumps, vortex grit unit and accessories, Aeromod activated sludge treatment system, ultraviolet disinfection system, effluent outfall sewer, effluent outfall structure, various site piping for water, aeration, and sludge; a standby generator, electrical/controls upgrades, an equalization basin, and other site improvements. Demolition of the existing wastewater treatment facility, including, but not limited to, the stormwater screening structure, stormwater pumping complex, existing headworks, primary clarifier, first stage tricking filter, second stage trickling filter, final clarifier, outfall control structure, golf course irrigation pump building and various other existing equipment shall be considered as an alternate bid.
