A new pump station was being constructed in Houston, Texas to facilitate the widening of Interstate 10 on the west side of Downtown Houston; the existing site was on the bank of a tributary to White Oak Bayou.
Stiver Engineering provided construction engineering by designing a sheet pile braced shoring system and staged the concrete pours and reinforcing splices so the structure could be constructed.
