Stiver Engineering provided construction consulting services for a sanitary sewer project at the Broadway Corridor in San Antonio.
This project required designs for trench safety (with adjustable height); bore pit, beam, steel plate and timber lagging shoring; steel casing; liner plate tunnels; thrust block; pipe jacking; and pipe buoyancy.
We delivered plans for a pipe support system of an existing pipe across the shoring pit; bypass calculations and pump sizing; tunnel settlement calculations; and contact grout calculations.
Our team also provided a ventilation plan for the tunnels; designs for manhole structures; traffic control plans; and a pavement restoration letter.
