Description: The work of this contract consists of the fabrication and supply of the six-steel wide-flange bridge beams and associated components as shown on the attached YOSE 2023 Wapama Falls Bridge Beam Drawings to the Hetch Hetchy public parking lot in Yosemite National Park. With three W24X68 steel beams ranging in length from 69-71 feet, which varies because of the skew. The remaining three beams will be W14X61 steel beams ranging in length from 49-51 feet, which again vary in length because of the skew. Please refer to the attached Wapama Falls Bridge Beam design drawings for the exact length and details for each beam. Once fabrication is complete the new steel beams and associated members/connections/cross-bracing shall be delivered to the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir parking lot within Yosemite National Park. The Wide-Flange steel beams and all associated steel components shall be designed and fabricated per the attached drawings. See attached Wapama Falls Bridge Beam Design Drawings for the specific beam type, dimensions and length, as well as the diaphragm dimensions, camber, hole locations and sizes, as well as any required coping at the ends the beams.
