Description: Saint Lucie County, Florida Public Utilities is requesting qualified consulting firms to submit qualifications to perform permitting, design and construction inspection services for the expansion of the St. Lucie County Holiday Pines Wastewater Treatment Facility. The proposed design will include modular common wall design of two (2) 0.300 mgd treatment trains matching the existing 0.300 mgd modular design. Construction of the two (2) 0.300 mgd treatment trains will be done in phases as capacity is needed. Scope of Work The successful firm will analyze potential options for the WW facility expansion. Optional design may include routes and pipe size for a reuse force main to the Fairwinds Golf Course and a wet weather/non spec force main to the Deep injection Well located at the Taylor Dairy Rd Water Treatment site. The intent of the project is for the selected consultant to design the expansion of the current Holiday Pines Wastewater Treatment Facility. The existing facility must remain operational during the construction expansion. The selected consultant should have experience in designing around an operational facility and maintaining process capacity during all construction phases. The design of the facility expansion and force mains will utilize the principles of design and construction of water and wastewater transmission lines as defined by Florida Department of Environmental Protection and St Lucie County Public Utilities.
