Description: Construction of new utilities within the existing utility tunnel including, but not limited to: a. Demolition and removal of existing domestic water, fire protection, and hydronic heating piping and support frames. b. Installation of new domestic water, fire protection, and hydronic heating piping. c. Installation of new steel support frames for the utility pipes. d. Installation of new steel reinforcement around new floor hatch openings. e. Installation of new steel floor access hatches. f. Repairing deteriorated and damaged sections of the concrete utility pipe tunnel structure as indicated on the drawings. The scope of the building envelope inspection, or review, should include, but is not limited to exterior building materials, flashings, bracing, anchors, weep holes and other water removal systems from with-in cavity walls, roofing systems, caulking and other sealants, parapet wall cap details, mullion details at openings, waterproofing below grade, and other abutting materials or systems.
