Description: The type of casing to be installed will be ungalvanized steel casing conforming to 748.06 of the 2023 Construction and Materials Specifications Book. The diameter of the steel casing will vary by location. The range of diameters will be from a minimum of 12 inches up to and including 60 inches. The wall thickness will be (1/2) inch thick, as specified in 748.06 Joints will be circumferentially fully penetrating B-U4B welds that are performed by an approved field welder.
