Description: The work includes the construction of approximately:
- Construction of a new preliminary treatment building including all electrical, mechanical, and process equipment.
- Two new vortex grit chambers and associated equipment for grit pumping and grit dewatering.
- Site grading and paving.
- Re-route and add a new 36″ influent forcemain to new structure and route new 42″ effluent pipe from the new grit channel to the existing per-aeration basin.
- Line tapping the 36″ PCCP pipe to install a new influent line. Line stop shall contain a bypass to the pre-aeration basin.
- Electrical upgrades and SCADA improvements.
- Demolition of existing grit building and associated equipment.
