Description:  Replacement of approximately 2,700 LF of sanitary sewer piping under Pier 12 and approximately 100 LF shore side to the first existing manhole / cleanout (using two existing bulkhead penetrations). Under pier piping will be replaced with similar size HDPE pipe and buried (shore side) pipe will be replaced with epoxy coated ductile iron pipe. 316L stainless steel hangers, brackets and fasteners will be used under the pier. HDPE pipe systems will include thermal expansion fittings to support seasonal temperature variations. Pier 12 has two sanitary sewer service lines, one north side and one south side of the pier. Replacement of approximately 2650 LF of sanitary sewer piping under Pier 14 and approximately 100 LF shore side to the first existing manhole (single bulkhead penetration). Under pier piping will be replaced with similar size HDPE pipe, matching existing slope, and buried (shore side) pipe will be replaced with epoxy coated ductile iron pipe. 316L stainless steel hangers, brackets and fasteners will be used under the pier. HDPE pipe systems will include thermal expansion fittings to support seasonal temperature variations. Pier 14 has two sanitary sewer service lines, one north side and one south side of the pier.
