This is the Bulkhead Design Description
Stiver Engineering provided the contractor with an alternate tunneling method for a 6-inch diameter force main. The alternate design consisted of a horizontal directional drill (HDD) that was 21 ft. beneath an existing railroad. The pull forces and pipe stresses were analyzed and a profile was delivered to the contractor for construction.
Stiver Engineering provided a corrosion resistant vinyl sheet pile and treated timber bulkhead design for a property on Galveston Bay in Seabrook, Texas. The bulkhead consisted of vinyl sheet piles, timber wales, galvanized tie rods and timber deadman piles.

Stiver Engineering provided a design for three piers (Robert’s Point Park, Charlie’s Pasture, and Brundrett Memorial) in Port Aransas, Texas, using concrete reinforced with GFRP bars. The design consisted of the decking panels, beams, an abutment, and pier caps for the three piers. Stiver also provided a loading analysis for the support piles.
